Minimum Feature Size


RECOMMENDED: 2MM (OR 1MM IF CONNECTED JUST ON ONE SIDE)

Feature size is important factor of the design and it cause some bad quality prints or unstable prints. For better quality stable output better to maintain 2-3mm minimum size or more and for vertical parts and for horizontal parts 1-2mm.

Tip: If you need to print some part with smaller parts you should make the model that can print those part horizontally.

RECOMMENDED: 1.0 MM WIDE, 0.7 MM HIGH

Minimum detail on your design can be around 1.0mm wide and 0.7mm minimum height. This helps to print clean and clearly visible details.

Tip: if you are putting text on your design, use a bold sans-serif font for readability, such as Arial Bold.

RECOMMENDED: MAKE THE DESIGN TO MINIMIZE SUPPORTS

Support Structures added automatically, it depends on the complexity of the project and the material type you selected. Support structures mean it will be an added cost for the finish product.

Tip: When you design consider the printing orientation or get advice from us before print order to reduce material cost.

RECOMMENDED: 0.5MM CLEARANCE BETWEEN PARTS

With Strong durable materials like Nylon , PV you can have moving parts printed at once. To maintain loose parts should have minimum distance with 0.5mm separation among moving parts.

Tip: Increase the clearance, try to print separately if possible

RECOMMENDED: 1.3MM (1MM IN SMALLER OBJECTS)

Wall thickness should have enough strength to support the structure, our recommendation is to have 1.3mm for larger objects and atlease 1 mm for smaller objects.

Tip: Specially consider when you scale down 3D architectural models.
